Wii Wonders!

As I have abruptly entered into early middle age, I guess I shouldn’t be all that giggly about a video game. But I gotta tell ya…I played a Wii for the first time today and it was a BLAST! Whoever came up with this video console is a freaking genius! Unlike the regular videogame systems where you sit on your butt and lose all feeling in your lower extremities after 4 hours of non-stop play, this gadget allows you to play videogames while doing exercises!!! After a round of boxing I was breathing heavy. After a game of baseball I could feel the muscles in my arms! After a game of bowling I was…well…just kicking major butt (which I wouldn’t normally do in a real bowling alley)! Needless to say I’m hooked! Now I just have to find one. Apparently everybody and their brother bought all of them for Christmas and finding one is next to impossible. Oh well…it could save me from addiction at the highest level, but I can’t wait to get one! Then let the games begin! Of course, I’ll be playing against my  5 year old…but who cares! It’s all even in the world of Wii! Game on suckers!!!
