Yeah…it was entertaining the first 500 times I saw it…
Am I wrong…but isn’t HBO supposed to be a movie channel? Because I’ve been in enough hotel rooms the last month and the only thing they seem to be showing are the same epsiodes of “Entourage” and “True Blood”, which is an oversexed vampire show. Why is this?
I realize that “The Sapranos” was a huge hit and that now HBO is trying to ram it’s programming down our throats, but these shows, while entertaining to some degree, don’t really need to be on EVERY FREAKIN’ NIGHT. Seriously, I have not been able to turn the tube on without seeing one of these 2 shows at any given time after 9pm. And last night at 7 they had “Alvin & The Chipmunks” on. Which is about as entertaining as me poking my eye out with a hot prod.
So I don’t know who is doing the programming over there at HBO, but he or she isn’t doing a very good job. How many gazillion movies does that network have that they can air? But they choose to show the same shows over and over and over again? C’MON ALREADY! Give us something new!!! I can’t take one more episode of “True Blood” because it’s not really that great and watching someone spew blood and puke isn’t really that entertaining the first time…let alone the 3rd or 4th time!
How about a movie once in a while? Why is the trend to NOT show what you expect these networks to show? MTV? No videos. HBO? No movies. ESPN2? Uh…I don’t consider an infommercial on “how to tighten my abs in 30 minutes or less a day” sports. So if anyone out there is paying for these channels, it surprises me that there aren’t more people complaining! Of course, maybe this is what everyone wants. I dunno…
C’MON!!! I wanna watch SOMETHING!!!
Geezuz I hate t.v….
