House Happenings I

Everyone wants pictures of the way this is all going down…so here ya go! We’ll start from the beginning and work our way to where we are this weekend…

House Construction (3)
First they tore the solarium off.

Then they started to build the frame.

And then it rained…a lot

And finally the frame was in place.

And then it rained & I went out of town for 5 days

And when I got home THIS was all done.

Then new guys showed up & ripped out the steps.

And this was in our driveway.

And they dug out an even BIGGER hole!

Meanwhile…windows were put in.

Siding was done on part of the house.

Gravel & concrete blocks are being laid.

And that is where we stand as of today…Friday, May 8th.

    Looking great, Alan. I can’t wait to see the finished product. maybe Chris and I will get up to Cincinnati (spelled it right) this summer! You know we love the aquarium. See you soon, and love ya.

    Looks great Alan! The new siding looks really good, and helps blend the addition in with the rest of the house nicely.

    What’s the big hole in the yard for? Are you building out the patio?

    Yes…we are having a patio built behind the house with a retaining wall and landscaping. Should be a nice place to sit in the afternoons!
