What better way to spend the day than to get out into the great outdoors and paddle downstream? So Saturday morning, that’s what we did. My buddy and I threw our kids in car and headed out to Loveland, OH to do a little canoeing. Once we got all settled and the kids A) stopped asking questions & B) got used to the canoe, it went pretty well. And the weather was perfect! A little overcast and around 70. On our trip, we saw ducks & a crane and some fish and we saw a medieval castle and we even managed to get a glimpse of the famous Sasquatch (or Big Foot, for those of you who don’t know). Sounds too good to be true…right? Well…here are the pictures from our harrowing adventure…

Awesome day! That castle is great. Does someone live there?
Great canoe trip! Felt like I was there 🙂
Great pics! Kaia came in while I was looking at them and kept saying Ava Ava. Now while I’m writing this comment she keeps saying ava..gone. I’ll have to go back and show them to her again:)
Smellyfoot photos cracks me up.
Ooooh is that Chateau LaRoche? I’ve never actually been there myself, although I always say I’m going to go. Maybe I’ll take my niece out to see it this week while she’s here. Good idea, Alan, thanks! lol
Looks like an awesome trip. We were talking about paddling with children in our Canoeing Forum, it looks like you have no problems.
If it’s not to much to ask, could you post some photos and commentary. You can always link back to your blog.
